Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of QueryHippo, operated by Humanspeak Inc ("we," "us," or "our"). Contact: support@queryhippo.com. Using QueryHippo means agreeing to these terms.
1. Using QueryHippo
You must be at least 18 and have authority to accept these terms and authorize access to the accounts and properties you connect. Use QueryHippo only for lawful purposes and respect the rights of others.
You are responsible for protecting your account and access tokens and for the people or tools you authorize. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, access another customer’s data without permission, or use the service to violate Google’s or another provider’s rules.
2. Your data and permissions
You retain your rights in the data you provide or authorize us to collect. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive permission to collect, host, copy, store, process, and display that data to operate QueryHippo and provide the features and sharing you authorize, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Connecting a property authorizes ongoing read-only collection while the connection remains active. QueryHippo preserves historical records, which may extend beyond the history available from Google. Property ownership or authorized access must not be misrepresented.
3. Permission to improve the tooling
You permit us to use customer data in de-identified, aggregated form to develop, test, evaluate, and improve QueryHippo’s customer-facing tools. This includes combining information across customers to improve comparisons, collection reliability, and reporting, subject to the protections in our Privacy Policy.
Aggregates must not reasonably identify you, your users, your properties, or your websites. We will not re-identify them or use this permission to disclose customer-identifiable data. Permitted, irreversibly de-identified aggregates may remain after an account is closed.
This permission does not override law, required consent, or a provider’s restrictions. Google API data, including derived and aggregated data, remains subject to Google’s policies and Limited Use requirements. It does not authorize selling that data, advertising uses, or general-purpose AI model training. We will obtain additional consent where required before a new use begins.
4. Google and other third-party services
QueryHippo depends on third-party services, including Google, Clerk, and Cloudflare. Their availability, quotas, policies, and data limitations can affect QueryHippo. Search Console data can be delayed, incomplete, withheld, or revised; query-level rows do not necessarily add up to site totals.
When you connect an external AI assistant or another tool, you authorize the access you grant to it. You are responsible for reviewing its terms and data practices. QueryHippo does not guarantee the accuracy of an external model’s explanations.
5. Service availability and changes
QueryHippo is an evolving service and may include preview or beta features. We may change or discontinue features, and collection may be interrupted. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, complete data collection, search rankings, traffic, revenue, or particular business results. Keep independent copies of information you need.
Any paid offering will disclose its pricing and billing terms before you incur a charge; these terms alone do not authorize a charge.
6. Ending access and deleting data
You may stop using QueryHippo, disconnect integrations, and revoke access tokens. Disconnecting a source stops future collection but does not delete stored history. Contact support@queryhippo.com to request account or data deletion, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or end access for misuse, security concerns, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to retrieve your data. Retention remains subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable provider requirements.
7. Our software and your feedback
We and our licensors retain rights in QueryHippo’s software, design, and branding. Your data remains yours. Open-source components remain governed by their licenses. If you voluntarily provide suggestions, we may use them to improve the service without payment or attribution; this does not expand our rights to your customer data.
8. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, QueryHippo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You should verify results before making decisions based on them.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including lost profits or business opportunities. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
9. Changes and questions
We may update these terms and will identify the effective date and provide notice of material changes. Changes requiring additional consent will take effect for you only after that consent is obtained. If you do not agree to an update, you may stop using the service and request deletion.
For questions or disputes, contact support@queryhippo.com so we can try to resolve the issue. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
