How do I take back a change marker that was recorded by mistake?

- Changes data · needs Read and make changes
- No external calls

## When to use it

Removes a change marker you own, for example one recorded on the wrong page or date. The marker is kept, marked as removed, so the record stays complete; it no longer appears in list_changes by default.

## Ask your AI

- Remove the change marker we recorded by mistake for the pricing page.
- Undo the HUM-52 change marker; it went on the wrong page.

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Details | What it means |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `changeId` (required) | `string` | 1–200 characters; pattern ^[a-zA-Z0-9._:-]+$ | The ID of the marker, as returned by record_change or list_changes. |

## What it returns

removed true and the marker, now with the time it was removed (removed_at), in the same shape record_change returns.

## Notes

- Removing a marker that is already removed returns it unchanged. After removal you can record the same page, date and kind again as a new marker.
- Only the site's owner can remove markers.
- Changes data: it needs a token or app connection with Read and make changes access. Read-only credentials get an insufficient_scope error.

## Description your AI sees

> Remove a recorded change marker you own, for example one recorded by mistake. The marker is kept as removed for the record. Needs change access.
